The Guilford Dam Removal was led by the Connecticut River Conservancy, aiming to restore fish passage and sediment continuity. Guildford Dam was a 60 foot concrete dam stretching across an unnamed tributary of Broad Brook in Guilford. It likely dates to the early 1960s, and its original function is not known.
